Why is intelligence measured in years of schooling and in a degree?
sitting in my brit lit class today, hearing people RAVE about a letter from spencer to his homie made me feel the same way. like, why should i even bother majoring in english when i can’t relate to these people, and when i know when i’m done i’m not going to feel excited about teaching, or editing or whatever else i choose. i want to go to school and learn something i enjoy, but i can’t afford it and soandso wants me to do this or that.
all i need to do is man up and quit forcing things upon myself, and instead accept my real interests.
