i think one of my favorite parts of christmas is seeing gifts under the tree. i always loved being able to enter the room and see the shiny tree with lights aglow with piles of presents nestled beneath it. this year my mom is holding off on wrapping until tonight, which means that there are still no presents under the tree. maybe that’s why christmas doesn’t feel like it’s here...

new years resolution
i think i’ve come up with mine: limiting my spending. i’d like to spend at most one to two times a month on bigger items, and maybe three times on food and such. it’d be nice to have as much control as notbuying, but that seems like wishful thinking.
so, in short, my proposed new years resolution is to buy less and save more, that way one day when i find something really cool...

today for my bible as literature class, we took a trip to the local sinagogue/temple. our professor had been asking us about it throughout the semester, and my excitement was consistently building.
